Direct to Film (DTF) printing is the latest innovation in the printing world. Full-color graphics are first printed onto a transfer film, which is then applied to the final product using a heat press. This process offers several advantages over DTG (Direct to Garment) printing, including compatibility with both polyester blends and cotton. Additionally, DTF prints have a softer feel compared to the thicker Plastisol prints.
DTF printing can be used on a wide variety of products, including those traditionally limited to cut and weeded graphics like hats, tote bags, and virtually any fabric-based item.
Our transfers also feature white ink, enabling detailed, contoured graphics. They come with a flood white backing, ensuring they work seamlessly on both light and dark garments. Plus, the transfers are stable and can be stored for later use—allowing you to print in advance and apply on demand!
